a few other things to touch on, now that Im not so mad with myself….

Your Dominant Thinking Style:

Visioning You are very insightful and tend to make decisions based on your insights. You focus on how things should be – even if you haven’t worked out the details. An idealist, thinking of the future helps you guide your path. You tend to give others long-term direction and momentum.

Your Secondary Thinking Style:

Modifying Super logical and rational, you consider every fact available to you. You don’t make rash decisions and are rarely moved by emotion. You prefer what’s known and proven – to the new and untested. You tend to ground those around you and add stability.

above is true, but unexpected. Didnt think they would class as dominant styles.  neway

shes currently in Holland, but stopped off in Malaysia on the way.  Pretty neat!

Friday one of my japanese teachers took me to lunch, and then to an open garden with this 400 year old tree that was in bloom.  pretty amazing stuff.  And then we had afternoon tea at her apartment.  But the point of this is – she’s sooooo nice!!!  I feel very lucky to have so many ppl here to take care of me.  well, look out for me would be the better word….

what else…..  hmmmmm…  just got back from church.  The guy i help teach the high school class with invited me along to his church.  it was baptist I think.  a little unlike what Im used to, but good for me I suppose.  would rather go to a bilingual church, but thats not an option here.

on other musing.  I cant remember if i said here before, but when i got here i started a diet.  the ‘great australian diet’ to be precise…. but it didnt continue very long…..  and it wasnt my fault!!!  and before anyone says I dont need to diet, I could stand to lose a few kilos, and thats for medical reasons, so dont say anything to me!  but it didnt work out becuase my breakfast and dinner are provided for me here, and I dont really have access to a kitchen….  mind you, japanese food is still very healthy, so Ive lost a kilo between that and all the walking i’m doing.

but to the point.  the one thing i do have control over is lunch.  so my question here is, what is a healthy lunch?  according to the book Im reading, for lunch i should have something like soup, salad, salad sandwich, or vegi casserole…  okay, so, soup.  well, no kitchen so no can make.  cup of soups would be embarrising at uni.  suppose i could live off those cup noodles.. . but doesnt seem very healthy….  will look at options tomorrow….  salad, once again cant make…  i can buy them, but they are expensive, and crappy.  my budget is 500yen a day for food and drink at uni….  salad sando, well, cant make again, let alone, they dont even have rye bread in japan.  can buy sandies at uni, but the filling are ham and salad, or egg, or tuna.  guess its better than nothing.  vegi casserole, well, its abit out of the question i think.  so, heres the challange – soup, sandwich or salad everyday.  next challange, snacks…..

man why do I put my self through this rubbish.

it raining now, that means it wont rain tomorrow – yay!
